I have truly enjoyed getting to know Bryce Peddicord. He has done work on multiple properties for our family and goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of. We initially started an interior paint job with a different contractor. He ghosted us halfway through the job. It is never easy to get someone to come in a pick up halfway through as well as ask that mistakes be fixed. We picked bryce from a list of Angi's contractors. He was responsive and was able to size up what our job needed and provide a fair quote. I was impressed by his knowledge of how different paints worked as well as what was needed to correct some trim quality issues from the prior guy. The finished product looks really good. Bryce was absolutely fantastic! Within minutes of me posting about the paint job, Bryce gave me a call and arranged to come out the next day for a quote. His price was very fair and he had no qualms about all the little extra stuff like removing shelves, nails, etc that I needed him to do. Abel painted our house and did a super nice job. Each day he cleaned up, was present, addressed our questions, and clearly communicated each step along the way. Hi. We used Painter1 0f Portland to paint our house. They did a Great Job. Sven gave us a very competitive bid for all the work they did. Bryce did a Great Job of painting our house and our stucco walls. He was very good at painting around our landscaping, including the trees and bushes that are very near the sides of the house. A day before our project started, we got a call from Bryce to touch base and let us know who was coming and when. Julio and his crew worked diligently through a weekend to complete our project before fall rain came. Our house looks good as new with fresh paint!! Our neighbors have even taken time to compliment us on how the house looks. I've already referred a co-worker, and will not hesitate to continue sending business their way!

Sven came out to bid on my house and went ahead and tested for lead while he was there, which was present. Unfortunately he couldn't take the job, but was so nice and thorough and gave me all the information needed to move forward with someone else. I am disappointed about the lead, but had a great experience with Painter 1!

Painter 1 is a great choice. My walls needed repainting after 16 years of living here to sell my home. Sven did a couple of quotes while we decided how extensively we wanted to paint the inside of my townhome. He was always very professional and patient with us. We love how the house looks now! They did a great job. They worked especially hard to cover a nasty stain, trying three different more intense treatments, until it was completely gone. They did little extra things that weren’t technically their job but that made things easier for me during that awful remodeling/moving stage. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends!

I hired Painter 1 to fix up some old doors, and I would hire them again without question. Sven met me to see what I wanted, and was happy to review other work I hope to do down the road to educate me as to what would be involved. He coordinated the work to be done with his painter Bryce, and Bryce kept in close communication with me regarding pick-up, progress of work, and return. When an option arose, he checked in with me instead of just making the decision on his own. (I wouldn't have known the difference, but the respect given to me was something you don't always get when hiring people.) It was a relief to work with such professionals, as well as comfortable to invite them into my home. You will be doing yourself a favor to call them; I know I will be calling them again for future projects!

I was looking for an interior painter and within minutes of posting my request on thumbtack Painter1 responded with a request to work with me. I was happy with the quick response and even happier with the quality of work that was done with the initial visit and overall result.

We had a wonderful experience with Painter1! Sven was incredibly responsive, punctual and he reconfirmed meeting times and followed up with our questions. He was very knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations on paint. He was able to color match our bathroom to extend the color into the entryway. Painter1 was able to get us scheduled very quickly after the bid and the work was done within the expected timeline. I would highly recommend!

We are happy with the way our house turned out

The foreman came the day before work commenced to go over the project with us, and stopped by every day to check progress. He also came by at the end to do a walk through and was very thorough and marked several places that needed touch up which the painters took care of right away because they were still onsite. The painters were very good and thorough, helped me move some of the heavy items prior to starting, were on time every day and worked very hard and efficiently, I will likely use Painter 1 on my next project.
